Event Memories Pro is an event-management service developed and operated by Filter Network Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when hosts and guests use the service.

Information We Collect

Depending on how Event Memories Pro is used, we may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, event names, event dates, event locations, RSVP responses, party sizes, guestbook messages, photos, videos, captions, host account information, support requests, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

Google Account and Google Drive Data

When an event host chooses to connect Google Drive, Event Memories Pro uses Google OAuth to request access needed to provide the Google Drive storage feature. Event Memories Pro requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.

This access is used only to allow the authorized host to select or create an event folder and to store, retrieve, and display event photos and videos associated with that event. Event Memories Pro does not use Google Drive data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.

OAuth access and refresh tokens may be stored in the Event Memories Pro WordPress database so the service can continue communicating with the host’s Google Drive. A host may disconnect Google Drive from Event Settings. Disconnecting removes Event Memories Pro’s stored connection information but does not delete files already saved in the host’s Google Drive.

Google API Limited Use: Event Memories Pro’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Information

Information is used to create and manage events; process RSVPs and guestbook entries; provide event pages, QR codes, galleries, slideshows and social RSVP graphics; transfer guest media to the host’s selected Google Drive; send service-related communications; provide support; maintain security; troubleshoot issues; and operate or improve user-facing Event Memories Pro features.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information or Google user data. Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate Event Memories Pro, including website hosting, email delivery, Google APIs, security, and related infrastructure. Event hosts can view information submitted to their event. Guest content can be visible to other guests when the host enables public gallery or guestbook features.

Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the user-facing Google Drive feature with the user’s consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or as otherwise permitted by Google’s API policies.

Human Access to Google User Data

Filter Network Solutions personnel do not routinely read a user’s Google Drive files or Google user data. Human access would occur only when the user affirmatively requests assistance involving specific data, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, when required by law, or where otherwise permitted by Google API policies.

Event Media Storage

When Google Drive storage is enabled, photos and videos are intended to be stored in the host’s own Google Drive rather than maintained as permanent media storage by Event Memories Pro. Temporary processing may occur as necessary to upload, retrieve, display, or troubleshoot event media.

Retention

Public event access is designed to remain active for three months after the event date unless it is extended, changed, or deactivated. Account, payment, security, support, and operational records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary. Media stored in a host’s Google Drive remains under the host’s control and is subject to that host’s Google account settings.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled by Event Memories Pro, including access controls and protected handling of authentication credentials. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Data Requests

Hosts may update event information, disconnect Google Drive, download available event data, and manage event settings. Hosts and guests may contact us to request assistance with access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with Event Memories Pro. Children’s Privacy

Event Memories Pro is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate involvement from a parent or guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The current version will remain at this URL and the last-updated date will be revised when appropriate.
